10th, Vermont Turkish Cultural Center organized a ‘Special Ramadan Iftar Dinner’ for Turks and Americans in Istanbul Kebab House was opened recently.
During the event guests were given brochures, which portrayed the importance of month of Ramadan and activities that Turkish Cultural Center organized throughout the month of Ramadan.
From State Representatives to professors, there were attendees from different walks of life. Ahiska Turks also attended the dinner. Representative Mike Yantachka, who is also a member of Energy Commission and attended Turkey trip last month, which was organized by Turkish Cultural Center Vermont, stated his gratification attending the Iftar Dinner. He also shared his recent article about his trip with the guests.
Having prepared a special menu for the Dinner, Vural Oktay –the owner of the restaurant, expressed his delight of hosting the program in his venue for such an awesome purpose.
