The Turkic American Alliance (TAA) cordially invites you to participate in our Gala Reception during the 2015 Annual Turkic American Convention and Business Summit in Washington, D.C on Wednesday, March 18th from 6:30pm to 9:00pm at the Willard InterContinental Hotel. We expect an attendance of over 500 people including 150 leading businesspersons from many different backgrounds; thus providing individuals with a unique opportunity to build relationships with representatives from various industries. This year, TAA will introduce a Business Summit to their flagship event by collaborating with the Turkic American Chamber of Commerce (TACC) and Turkish Confederation of Businessmen and Industrialists (TUSKON).
Over the years, we have organized annual Turkic American Conventions which have been highly attended by U.S. Members of Congress, Members of Turkic Parliaments, Ambassadors, Mayors, Governors, Secretaries of State, and representatives from the Departments of State, Defense, Energy and Commerce, USAID and the United Nations. In 2011 alone, over 600 people attended including 8 U.S. Senators and 59 U.S. Representatives. In addition, we have organized several country specific conventions such as the US-Azerbaijan, US- Kazakhstan and US-Kyrgyzstan Conventions in collaboration with our member federations.
The Turkic American Alliance is the largest national Turkic organization in the United States, representing six regional federations and about 250 community associations, cultural and dialogue centers, business chambers and education institutions. The Turkic American Alliance also functions as a powerful advocate for dialogue among the Turkic American Community including Turkey, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and the United States.
TAA would be honored to have you as a guest at our Gala Reception as we work toward continuing to build the economic empowerment of Turkic Americans. Please find attached some additional information about our Convention. We would greatly appreciate RSVPs on or before February 26th.
